On Wednesday, the Chamber of Deputies approved Bill No. 8540, thereby confirming the increase in the notarial deed tax credit from €30,000 to €40,000 per person.
This scheme, commonly known as “Bëllegen Akt”, applies to the acquisition of property for personal use, particularly as a main residence.
Good news for buyers This means that each buyer is now entitled to a tax credit of €40,000, or up to €80,000 for a couple. It is a significant reduction in acquisition-related costs and a welcome relief in the current pressured real estate market.
